What triggers re-approval?
This article is here to let you know what changes to your trip will trigger a requirement for the trip to be re-approved either by your HR approver or by your High Risk Assessors and Approver.
First, a "re-approval" is when your trip has already been approved however changes have been made which, for some reasons, will require your trip to be approved once again by one/or many approvers.
The reasons for re-approvals are as follows:
- The Trip Plan has been "edited" and either:
- the total amount in the budget has increased [note 1]; or
- the budget's cost centre has changed; or
- the total duration of the trip has increased
- this triggers a re-approval from HR Approval
- the destinations have changed, and a new high risk location has been added.
- this triggers a re-approval from High Risk Assessment and High Risk Approval
- the destinations have changed, and the total duration of the trip has increased
- this triggers a re-approval from HR Approval
- the destinations have changed, and the number of private days has changed
- this triggers a re-approval from HR Approval
[note 1] this condition is subject to your organisation's settings. Please check with your application administrator to see whether it is applicable to your organisation.
Additionally, if the destinations have changed, and the total duration has decreased, or the start and end dates have changed, we notify the HR approval (but do not required a re-approval).
