2023-08-08 Nutrip Release Notes

External Traveller Updates

Users now have the ability to add more information to an external traveller's profile. The additional information includes passport information, frequent flyer details, emergency contacts , and meal preferences. This information will be stored and saved so it can be accessed if the external traveller is to travel again.  The External Traveller feature allows users within the organisation to include other travellers outside the organisation to.

The security features for External Travellers has also been increased. When the external traveller profile is created, it is automatically assigned to the user that created it. If another user needs to create it, they will need to request permission from the user that created it, in order to do so.

Travel Arrangers/Delegations

Travel arrangers now have the ability to delegate their profile to someone else to manage and keep track of while they are away.  The new delegation digest means approvers are being kept in loop on what's going on. Nutrip's weekly delegation digest provides a summary of the number of trip requests, approvals and the total budget approved. The digest also provides a summary of individual trips and links that allow approvers to view and intervene if required.

This is important as it means that everyone is able to stay on top of the travel requirements and travel can still be arranged even if the arranger is away.

Merging Inactive Profiles

Admins now have the ability to merge profiles if someone leaves the organisation, or an external traveller joins the organisation. This means that all information is not lost and that users are not required to re-enter information.

Travel Agent Booking Compliance

Users are now able to indicate whether they will book through the organisation's preferred travel agent or select the reason they are not. They are also able to write their reason in, if it is not on the drop down list.

This allows admins insights into the booking habits of users, and why travellers are not using the organisation's preferred travel agent.

Approver Requests History

Admins now have the ability to see a traveller's request history by simply clicking on their profile. This information is available during the approval process. This allows approvers to question the validity of the trip and whether it's excessive based on the traveller's historical activity.
